Testing? Not Testing?

Even if you’re not having your child take your state’s standardized test, you might be curious how they’re doing. Texas puts their TAKS tests online. We used the language arts ones years ago. When I last used it, G and P had to read from the computer screen and write their answers on notebook paper, and then I had to go back and score it. Now they have the tests online, and they can just click a radio button to select the answer. When they’re done, click SUBMIT, and it scores for you! So if you’re wondering, visit the Texas Education Association’s TAKS webpage.

Cool! We don't have to test in our state so we have never done it but my daughter has shown interest in taking one – just to see what it's like. I'll have to check that out! Thanks for sharing it.
