This is my silverware drawer. I took this photo last night, right after the dishwasher was unloaded. This drawer should contain service for 12. Meaning 12 dinner forks, 12 salad forks, 12 butter knives, 12 tablespoons and 12 teaspoons. What you see here is what there is.

Poppin’ Good Fun

Isn’t it funny how the simplest things amaze kids? When I was a little girl, I loved popcorn. My dad made it all the time in the evenings, and when I went to spend a night at my Gramma’s house, we would make popcorn there too, with lots of butter. When the boys and I were at Fred Meyer one afternoon, they spotted a bin of popcorn seeds while I was getting oatmeal. They literally BEGGED me to buy some. Just regular popcorn? Really? So I bought it.
