I am sitting here in the Driver Licensing office, waiting for him to come back from his test and I’m remembering. Now 19, he wasn’t exactly in a hurry to get his license. Now, with a real, adult life looming, it has become a desire and a need. I can hardly believe that he’s grown up, this boy not of my body but my husband’s. This young man who I care about so much.
