I am not, by nature, a frugal mom. I love a good deal, but I don’t spend hours and hours seeking them out. At least, not most of the time. When it comes to homeschool curriculum… well that’s another story all together. One of my most amazing “finds” on the internet has got to be public domain books.
We’re going to study my very favorite period in history this fall: The Middle Ages. When my big kids were little, we did a similar study using Konos Curriculum. We read books, drew pictures, made projects, and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I look forward to this year being very similar to that year (1999).
As I’m preparing for our first year using Diana Waring’s History Revealed! Romans, Reformers, and Revolutionaries curriculum, I am enjoying revisiting some old favorites, as well as discovering some new ones, and I want to share them with you.
