ABC’s of Encouragement EBook Now Available!

I am so excited to share with you my very first ebook! The ABC’s of Encouragement is for homeschool moms.

Every one of us have our down days. We have days or even weeks where we don’t feel motivated, aren’t sure how to teach a certain topic, or we don’t remember why we started homeschooling in the first place.

We forget to take the meat out  for dinner, don’t get the laundry folded, and oversleep sometimes. We juggle integers and diapers and swim meets, all in the same day. We are women. We are homeschool mothers. We are tired.

You aren’t a bad mom. You are not weird or insufficient. You are human, and it is easy to become overwhelmed by the forest so we miss out on the beauty of the trees. I’d like to help you see the trees… the children God placed directly in front of you. We can all use a little bit of encouragement. None of us are perfect!

Just to be perfectly transparent with you,  this is what I wore to my boys’ swim team practice yesterday morning…

Mismatch

This was my amazing dressing skillz after less than 4 hours of sleep and a rush out the door at 7am. I have to say, this was a first for me. The worst part was when my 18 year old daughter said, “Uh, Mom… nice shoes”, which made me look down… and realized that I’d been wearing these shoes, these two shoes, since early in the morning and we’d been home from swim team practice for an hour already… So yes, I’m with you. We’ve all been in the midst of chaos. I want to share with you some hope and encouragement in the midst of your homeschooling  journey.

    Hooray! I get to be the first to congratulate you on this accomplishment. Way to go, Dawn, and to God be the glory! You have been a constant champion for homeschool families everywhere.
