I don’t know how many weeks I have been at this now. I quit counting a long time ago. All I know is that I am very slowwwlllyyyy losing weight. I am meeting mini-goals, one at a time. I am running fairly consistently now each week, and I’m working on my endurance as well as my speed. This past Tuesday I was able to run 2.25 miles in 25 minutes! I varied between 5mph and 6mph, for the first time ever. I was really running! It really wiped me out though, and I wasn’t able to even make the 30 minute mark.
Next time, I will try again.
Last week was a bad week. I didn’t gain, but I didn’t lose either. I went over my points every.single.day. I didn’t get to the gym at ALL. I gained a pound. Then Easter happened, with the resulting candy and the massive chocolate cravings on Saturday and Sunday that just about did me in. Really, I swear. It was bad. This week (as in, since Monday) has been much better. now that the Easter candy has been devoured. I didn’t go over my points as badly, although I still did, and I didn’t gain any weight. I didn’t lose, but I didn’t gain. And from here on out I am going to really pay attention to what goes in my mouth and try to get more Y trips in.
- I will run more.
- I will not eat bad foods.
- I will watch my portion sizes.
- I will drink water.
Two weeks, no loss. It’s time to get busy!
