I have been struggling with what to do about lesson planning. I love Donna Young’s planner pages, among others, but still just didn’t find anything I really thought I would make good use of. I owned The Home Education Copybook for many years. I sold it while I was on hiatus from homeschooling… smart me, eh? She has some wonderful planning pages in that book! I do have copies of a few of the pages, plus copies from Gayle Graham’s How To Homeschool (the original one, and my hands-down favorite homeschool book). I took some ideas from Graham’s Unit Study Planner, changed it a whole lot, and made a planning or journal page for the entire week, one one page, for two kids.
I also included Charlotte Mason-ish subjects such as poetry and literature. (But not Art or Nature, sorry. I figure those are more free-form and deserve their own notebooks rather than a space on my page!) I go between planning ahead, and journaling what we did after the fact. This page gives me space to do both!
Feel free to grab it RIGHT HERE. Just leave me a comment if you take it. Thanks!
