I just made hot cocoa mix! I once again searched for and found a good recipe online. This one, I copied and pasted in Word, and will be adding to my soon-to-be-printed Favorite Recipes cookbook. And just because I like you all, I thought I’d share:
SUPREME COCOA MIX from RecipeZaar
Ingredients
* 4 cups nonfat dry milk powder
* 1 1/2 cups sugar (I used half powdered & half Splenda)
* 1 cup non-dairy coffee creamer
* 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 (4 ounce) package instant chocolate fudge pudding
Sift ingredients together or run through a food processor to make the mix more powdery. Use 1/2c. of mix to a mug of hot water.
I actually found that half a cup is a LOT of mix for a cup of cocoa, and ended up using about 1/3c. in my mug. It’s wonderful! A word of warning: I just checked this recipe through my WW points slider, and it runs 5 points per serving, if you use half a cup of the mix! I guess I’ll leave this batch for the kids, and make the next batch with fat free creamer, SF pudding mix, and all Splenda.
