Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I just wanted to tell everyone good morning, and I hope that your day is wonderful!

If you’re a Black Friday shopper, here’s a link to get you started planning for those deals, or even a way to avoid going to those stores all together by ordering online! Black Friday Gotta Deal

For me, I think the key is avoiding GOING this year. Last year, I was one of the fools who got in line at 4am at Toys R Us, to get in at 5am to try and buy one of those $25 mp3 players. Yea, you know, the ones they only sent 12 of to each store? Yep, that would be me. Did I get the great deal? No. AND they made us walk all the way THROUGH the store to get to the electronics section. Talk about cheesy. This year, I’ll buy those doorbusters online, thankyouverymuch!

Have a wonderful day and happy hunting!

Hi — I bookmarked your blog many months ago because I was researching HS curriculum and liked your post on TOG.

We decided to go with Sonlight for our two adopted children, ages 7 and 15. Now, I’m having second thoughts about SL and am curious to learn what you think about TOG now?

We are brand new homeschoolers, and frankly bewildered by all the stuff out there, and would appreciate any feedback you would like to share on your experiences.

Our children are all adopted: 7 yo son from Russia, is pretty much on grade level. Our 14 year old daughter has some FAS symptoms and really struggles.

And, we have a serious minded 18 year old daughter who is preparing for the GED, and hopefully college.

Both daughters were adopted a year and a half ago from Ukraine, where their education was apparently terrible.

Many thanks for all the fine writing and inspiration you provide.

    Blessings from VA.
