I got my laptop back! YEAH!!!!

I accidentally discovered the “Your item is ready for pickup” message on our answering machine, from Thursday. I listened to it Sunday. My new teenager quickly looked guilty and said, “Oops, I forgot to tell you about that.” So I got it back three days after it came in. It now sports a brand new plug jack, a new touch-mouse & buttons, and a brand new face plate to boot! Hooray for warranties! And BOO to adolescents who don’t pass on messages!

Since I reformatted prior to sending it in, I now have to reinstall all my programs (my RAM-hogs, I should say…. Photoshop CS2, Microsoft Digital Image Pro, DreamWeaver, Office 2003, Acrobat Pro…), download a million updates, and find my bookmarks and things like that. Fun! Course, I’ve been too busy organizing my kitchen today to really do much in that area…
