Spring Break?

Sure! If you say so! I think the kids get the break, and I get to deal with their boredom! You see, whilst the kiddos have a break from school, MY college classes started Monday. I’m taking 3 online classes, so that’s better than driving back & forth all the time, but there’s still HOMEWORK!

My hubby had to work out of town yesterday, and won’t be home until this evening. I was up until 1am installing and updating programs for my classes, just KNOWING I’d be able to sleep in this morning. The big kids were at play rehearsal until 10pm last night and the younger ones had to stay up that late also so we could go pick them up afterward. Boy was I mistaken!

D1 came honking into my bedroom at 7:20 this morning, just crouping his little head off. Well, I can’t ignore THAT sound and tell him to go back to sleep, so I got the nebulizer set up and gave him a treatment. He sounds better now, but not totally. I’m praying we won’t need to make a 2am trip to the ER tonight for some recemic epi. Having the nebulizer at home has definitely cut down our middle of the night ER trips, anyway! If he could have reached the machine himself, he could have set it all up too. He’s really smart when it comes to putting things together and following procedures. Still, I’d rather he not medicate himself, at the age of 6. :)

So we had breakfast, I had my devotions, and got the boys set up with Toy Story 2, and got started on laundry. (The girls, of course, are still sound asleep and it’s now 8:50). I got some Canvas going in my Windows Media Player, folded three loads of laundry, and now I’m blogging. I’m having serious problems with laziness lately, and that laundry has waited a couple of days. I have yet to shower and get dressed, and check my class Blackboards too. I guess I better get a move on.

At least I still have Canvas! ;) (If you’ve not heard of them, go to their site and give a listen. They are the worship band that we use for our youth retreats, and they are awesome!)
