Who did you see standing around your school flagpole today? Did you wonder what they were doing? Was there a crowd, or only one or two? Were they on their knees, or standing with hands upraised, praising God? Were they singing, jumping, smiling? If you witnessed any of these scenarios this morning, from
7:00 am until first bell, then you probably know I am talking about See You At The Pole! SYATP is a world wide prayer movement, entirely student led and student initiated. My husband and I dragged ourselves out of the house very early this morning, because our children wanted to be a part of SYATP at their schools. (Two high schools and a junior high.) I made the rounds a little later and caught a few pictures to share. It is amazing what God will do when He gathers student together. At high school #1 there were nearly 100 students; high school #2 had around 65, and the middle school had 10. Other schools in our area had any where between 5 and 150 students present. I have pics to share…
High School #1, right at 7:00am and there were already over 40 kids there. I haven’t heard the final count but Spirit FM said they had around 100 students by the end.
High School #2 from left to right, those are all students gathered to pray as the buses are coming in, and the other kids are either wondering WHAT is going on, and some coming to join in. They had a guitar, and were singing praises the Lord and some of the kids were jumping up & down! Too cool…

The junior high with a handful of dedicated students, and an awesome youth pastor standing by. Even in a group this size, God was working in these kids’ lives. Awesome.
